Save America!
Help restore the Democratic-Republic of our Forefathers

Mission Statement:
It is the goal of the www.SwordOfLiberty.org to restore the Democratic Republic of our Forefathers by any and all legal means necessary. We seek to return to a system of government based upon Jeffersonian principles and Natural Law; restoring the protection of Man's God-Given Right to Life, Liberty, and Property.

We welcome our fellow Americans of all creeds and colors to join us in this struggle.

Disclaimer:
www.SwordOfLiberty.org does not sanction or promote violence as a solution to our problem. We seek to find legal and Constitutional means to further our goals. We do not seek to overthrow or terminate the government of the United States of America; nor do we desire to conspire with those that do. Our goal is to return to the Democratic Republic the Founding Fathers envisioned. We seek to secure the Liberty and Rights of our fellow Man, regardless of their creed or color.

The Problem:
In 1776, American colonists tired of the abuses of a tyrannical government, cast off British Rule and formed a Democratic Republic founded on Natural Law and Liberty.

From that first Independence Day, America has not only faced forces from outside her borders intent on bringing the Democratic Republic to an end, but forces from the inside as well. It has been long stated that if America falls, it will fall from the inside.

Today we sit on the precipice of our Democratic Republic’s doom, and many do not even realize how far things have changed from America’s early imagining. Some of those changes have been subtle… some have not.

Here is a brief summary of the issues at hand:

  1. Since 1861 the Federal Government has steadily and dramatically grown in power, overshadowing both State and Individual Rights.
  2. Contrary to the specifically enumerated powers given each branch of government, each branch has overstepped their boundaries via loopholes, twisting of the Constitution, outright bullying, and the lack of diligent watchfulness by the people.
  3. Guaranteed liberties are being stripped away under various guises, such as the “War on Terror”, “Homeland Security”, and “Political Correctness”.
  4. American sovereignty is being handed over to a North American Union.
  5. America is being dictated to by the UN and World Federalists. We are heading toward a World Government, with the loss of American Sovereignty, Culture, and way of life.
  6. The Constitution is being usurped by zeitgeist, and it is being treated as a “living document” in which the words and intent change to comply with whatever is popular at the time.
  7. God, tradition, moral values, and the very essence of being a man and a woman are being cast out under the title “Diversity” and “Political Correctness”.
  8. We, especially our children, have become an overly medicated society sanctioned and promoted by an education system that does not seek to educate… but indoctrinate.
  9. Our elected “representatives” are not the citizen-statesmen they were intended to be; nor do they represent us. They are self-serving opportunists that seek only the golden calf at the base of the mountain.
  10. Our property is being stolen under the guise of “Eminent Domain” by the very government that was sworn to protect our Rights.

You may be wondering… “What can be done? Is it all gloom and doom?” The answer is simple: “Yes, something can be done. There is hope.”

The Solution:
We have what may be the last, best, hope for our Democratic Republic. For you to embrace this idea, you have to understand a few simple concepts.

  1. The Founding Fathers intended a Confederation of States; hence the first Constitution being the “Articles of Confederation”.
  2. In 1861, the American South, tired of the abuses of a tyrannical government, cast off Federal Rule and continued the Democratic Republic founded in 1776.
  3. In 1865, the Confederate States of America was militarily defeated; however the Government never surrendered and no peace treaty was ever signed.
  4. The US Government ousted the rightfully elected State Governments in the South and instated puppet governments in their place.
  5. The US Government militarily occupied the CSA for 12 years after the War for Southern Independence.
  6. The rightfully elected Government of the CSA and the occupied States eventually died off.

At this point you may be thinking “Okay… I follow you, but what does that have to do with here and now?”

Simple:
The Confederate States of America is a Nation under occupation by the Federal Government of the United States. The current State governments and Constitutions in each of the Confederate States were illegally put in place under coercion; therefore they are null and void.

How do we fix it?

  1. In order to strike a treaty and deal with an occupying nation you must have government representatives.
  2. With all of the rightfully elected government now dead you must re-seat the government.
  3. In order to re-seat the government you must hold elections.
  4. In order to hold elections you must have citizens.

Therefore the solution is clear… we must assert our Confederate Citizenship and re-staff the CSA Government and each of the State Governments under the last legitimate Constitution in place in each area. The re-staffed government can then negotiate with the occupying Nation for a cease of hostilities and removal from our Nation. The CSA and the sovereign States contained therein will then be able to continue the Democratic Republic of our forefathers.

How do we accomplish this?

  1. Register as a Confederate Citizen (www.csagov.org).
  2. Constitutional Conventions are being held by Citizens to update the 1861 Constitutions, removing slave language and adding safeguards from lessons learned over the last 141 years.
  3. Elections will be held to re-staff the State Governments, and the Government of the CSA.
  4. Negotiations with the Federal Union will be forthcoming.

Restoration Movement:
You may be wondering what the “Restoration Movement” is, and what is currently being done to accomplish it.

The answer is actually quite simple… the Restoration Movement is a movement to restore the rightful government of the Confederate States of America.

In order for you to understand what we are doing and why, I would urge you to come at this with an open mind, and be open to the possibility that the things you thought were truth are actually lies. If you are prepared to come into this from that angle, and you are interested in some details as to what specifically is being done, keep reading.

In order for us to proceed, there are a few things you have to understand:

  1. It is our contention that the last legal, legitimate Constitution of every State that was a part of the Confederacy was in force in 1861.
  2. It is our contention that the CSA Constitution of 1861 is still a legitimate, legal document.
  3. It is our contention that the current State Governments of several Southern States are actually satellite governments illegally put in place by the Federal Union.
  4. It is our contention that the Confederate States of America (including all member states, territories, and areas of dispute) are a nation under occupation by the Federal Union.

With all of this in mind, this is what we have done and are doing:

  1. We have established a Confederate Court to oversee the restoration and to see that we follow a Constitutional Process, and abide by legal and historical precedence.
  2. The Court established a Confederate Council to act as a provisional government until we can hold elections and re-staff the seats left vacant all these years.
  3. We are working towards the recruitment of citizens for the purpose of voting and holding office. This is an area that some people get confused on, and so it will be detailed further below.
  4. Once we have established a good number of citizens, each state will have a Constitutional Convention in which they will amend the Constitutions of their States, removing slave language, and doing some “tidying” that 231 years of hindsight has shown is needed.
  5. Once the Constitutions are in place, the changes will go to be ratified, and State Governments will be elected and fill their positions.
  6. We will then hold a national convention for changes to the CSA Constitution. We will then seek to remove slave language, and do the respective “tidying”; and then go for ratification and the elections to fill the national government seats.
  7. Once the Government is re-staffed, we will seek a Peace Treaty with the United States and a cease of occupation of our country.

A word about Citizenship:
I understand that most of you are thinking “I was born here, I am already a citizen.” Well, that isn’t entirely true. You see, because of the illegally ratified 14th amendment to the US Constitution you are a citizen of the de facto rulers of the Southern States… but you absolutely have a right to be a citizen of the CSA.

It is our assertion that instead of allowing every “scallywag” to come along and say he is a Confederate Citizen (even though he is actually lock-step behind the occupation); we want people to seek out and ASSERT their citizenship. In other words, instead of attaining Confederate Citizenship by default, we are looking at it as a contract between you and the Government of each State. Think of it like voter’s registration; everyone who is 18 or older has the RIGHT to vote; but you have to actually go out and ASSERT that right by registering and then casting your vote. The same holds true here.

Everyone who is 18 years of age or older, who was either born in a Members State or Territory (or area of dispute); or who has legally resided in said State or Territory for 6 months or more has a right to register as a citizen.

Registration requires that you fill out a form (found here: http://www.confederatestatesofamerica.org/applicationforcitizenship.htm); send the completed form, along with a copy of your birth certificate (and if you were not born in the CSA, proof of residency) and $50 to the following address:

Confederate States of America
3708 E. 29th St. #102
Bryan, Texas 77802-3901

At this point you may be wondering… “Why do I have to send $50?” That is a great question, and easily answered.

When you register to vote or use other clerking functions of the government, it is not free. It is paid for by taxes. We do not yet collect taxes, and all of the people behind this volunteer their time and efforts. None of us are paid a dime. The $50 is used for the following purposes:

  1. Half goes into the CSA treasury to cover the expenses of things like hosting the government website; paying for mailings; printing out certificates; and so on.
  2. The remainder goes to the “Registrar” who will process and verify your claim; sign and send off your certificate; etc. He is being reimbursed for his time and effort in sending emails, making phone calls, verifying information, answering your questions, etc. Many Registrars burn up a lot of cell phone minutes, gas, etc. trying to make a difference.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact us.
